Mr. Marios Dafnomilis

Foresight Special Adviser at the Presidency of the Hellenic Government

Marios Dafnomilis is a Foresight Special Adviser at the Presidency of the Hellenic Government, working on portfolios including artificial intelligence, climate change, European and international cooperation, and strategic policy planning. He actively supports the High-Level Advisory Committee on Artificial Intelligence and has contributed to the development and publication of Greece’s National AI Strategy.

He also serves as a Project Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Supply Chains of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

He has worked as an ESG Risk Management Consultant (2022–2023), specializing in sustainability and responsible business practices, having previously worked as a civil engineer on energy infrastructure projects in the United Kingdom and North Africa. Since 2022, he has been appointed by the European Commission as an Ambassador of the European Climate Pact.

He holds an MEng in Civil Engineering and an MSc with DIC in Geo-Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London, as an Onassis Foundation Scholar. He has been recognized as a Bertelsmann Foundation DC Fellow.
