
Dr. Giannis Perperidis

Giannis Perperidis holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Technology from the Philosophy Department of the University of Ioannina, Greece. He is currently a research fellow in AI Ethics at the Center for Hellenic Studies of Harvard University, and an adjunct lecturer at the Department of History and Digital Humanities of the Ionian University, Greece. Giannis has previously held postdoctoral research positions at NKUA, Panteion University, and Ionian University. For his Ph.D., he was awarded a scholarship from the Hellenic Foundation for Research and Innovation (H.F.R.I.). He is the author of several research papers on philosophy, technology, and digitality, and he has authored the book Artificial ‘Intelligence’ Confronting Itself: Re-examining the Relationship between Human, Nature, and Technology (in Greek, 2026). His areas of expertise include Philosophy of Technology, Philosophy of Artificial Intelligence, theories of digitality, and the political theory of the digital commons.
